Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. recently marked an auspicious and significant occasion at its Forest Trails Township in Bhugaon with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Shri Ram Mandir. Located within the Paranjape Forest Trails Township, the newly consecrated temple will serve as a spiritual and cultural space for the growing community.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony was conducted through traditional rituals, with puja performed by Shashank Paranjape, Managing Director; and Kalash Sthapana performed by Amit Paranjape, Director – Business Development of Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. The occasion witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents of Forest Trails, along with members of other Paranjape communities and Athashri residents, who came together to be part of this special celebration.
The consecration ceremony was followed by a four-day religious and cultural programme at Forest Trails, creating an atmosphere of devotion, celebration and togetherness across the township. The programme commenced on August 20 with Ram Raksha Pathan and Bhakti Geet presented by the Forest Trails Cultural Team. The celebrations continued with Ram Katha – Bhaktichi Amrutdhara, presented by renowned Rashtriya Kirtankar Dr. Charudatta Aphale (Buwa), followed by Geet Ramayan – Ramanamachi Surel Gatha by Girish Panchwadkar and his team. The four-day celebration concluded with a devotional musical programme, Bhav ani Bhakti – Surancha Ramrang, presented by Savani Datar Kulkarni and Shilpa Puntambekar.
The celebrations brought together residents across generations, allowing them to participate in traditional rituals, spiritual discourses and cultural performances centred around Lord Shri Ram. The enthusiastic participation from both Paranjape and Athashri residents reflected the strong sense of community and belonging that lies at the heart of township living.
Speaking about the occasion, Amit Paranjape, Director – Business Development, Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd., said, “A township is much more than a collection of homes. It is a community where people come together to create shared experiences, traditions and lasting relationships. The Pran Pratishtha of the Shri Ram Mandir is a deeply special occasion for all of us at Forest Trails. It was particularly heartening to see residents from Forest Trails, other Paranjape communities and Athashri come together with such devotion and enthusiasm. The temple will become an integral part of the social and cultural fabric of the township and a space where families and generations can come together.”
Forest Trails is Paranjape Schemes’ large-scale integrated township in Bhugaon, spread across approximately 400 acres and envisioned as a nature-led, self-sustained community. Set against the scenic surroundings of Pune’s western corridor and the Sahyadri foothills, the township combines residential neighbourhoods with open spaces, recreational amenities and community infrastructure.
Located close to established areas such as Chandani Chowk, Bavdhan and Kothrud, Forest Trails offers residents the advantage of connectivity while retaining the character of a green and relatively low-density environment. The township has been designed around the philosophy of creating an integrated ecosystem where homes are complemented by spaces and experiences that encourage social interaction, recreation and a stronger sense of community.
The addition of the Shri Ram Mandir further enriches this ecosystem by creating a dedicated spiritual and cultural space within the township. More importantly, the four-day celebration demonstrated how such shared spaces can bring a diverse community together, with residents participating collectively in moments of faith, tradition and celebration.
The Pran Pratishtha of the Shri Ram Mandir marks another meaningful chapter in the evolution of Forest Trails as a community designed not just around homes and amenities, but around the experiences, relationships and shared traditions that create a true sense of belonging.
