The Delhi Police has carried out a series of operations across the national capital as part of a crackdown aimed at addressing criminal activities and improving public safety.
According to officials, the enforcement drive involved coordinated checks in several areas of New Delhi, including inspections of vehicles, verification of individuals, and monitoring of locations identified as sensitive or prone to illegal activity.
Police authorities said the operations were conducted by multiple teams working simultaneously in different districts of the city. The measures included patrolling, surprise inspections, and verification drives to identify individuals involved in criminal activities.
Officials stated that the initiative is part of routine law enforcement efforts designed to deter crime and maintain order in the capital. During the checks, officers also reviewed compliance with existing legal and safety regulations.
According to the police, such drives are conducted periodically to strengthen surveillance and ensure a visible police presence in areas with higher footfall or security concerns.
